I remember the first time I ever tried a liquid lipstick. It was way before they became a trend. It was Max Factor's lipfinity. 9/10 times, I had trouble with it. I had to be really careful with the amount of product I put on the brush, because if there was too much, the lipstick wouldn't dry and I'd have to do it all over again. And other times, it just wouldn't glide on easily, or it would dry after an hour and started chipping off. I kind of swore off liquid lipsticks for a while.

Then I decided that maybe I should give liquid lipsticks a try again.
I searched so long for a shade that wouldn't look so crazy on my pale skin. Ever since the Kylie Jenner's lip kit craze, I've been seeing really good dupes on social media and I kept seeing Colourpop and Limecrime.  

So I decided to order Limecrime's liquid lipstick from their Velvetine line in the colour Cashmere. 
When I got it, I was worried if it would even look good on me, considering it does look like a really dark colour.  

FIRST IMPRESSION : 
It smells so good! AND it's cruelty free, AND vegan!
The packaging is so cute! It says ''makeup for unicorns''.
The first day, I just did a swatch on my hand. That swatch didn't come off for more than a day! Wow!

The next day, I finally put it on my lip. It glided on smoothly for me and I had no trouble putting it on. There were no problems with ''using too much and then the lipstick not drying'', like there were with lipfinity.

THE ACTUAL WEAR: 
I would say the lipstick is longlasting and I would recommend it for paler girls. 
I think it flatters light hair. I got a lot of compliments wearing it.
My lips felt so smooth the whole time! I even forgot I had it on.
I had to reapply 2 times.
